Tribu Nueva, "The New Tribe in Latin Dance", was founded by Drew Alexander and me in December 2001. I spent eight great months dancing with the troupe before leaving to pursue other interests. The Tribe disbanded at the end of 2002 when Drew, our choreographer, moved to Chicago.
